Championship Rules

📌 **Discord Guidelines**
• Use your *BGA Nickname* (set it via Profile > Server Profile)
• No hate speech, politics, religion, or NSFW
• Please use English in all channels, except language-specific ones
• This is our main community space — help keep it active!

💬 **Behaviour**
• Teasing = encouraged, but stay cool 😎
• Blocking = allowed
• No “phone excuses” — use a PC!
• Speak English during games for everyone to feel included
• Bug? DM a screenshot + details to admins

🕓 **Play Time**
• BGA clock = official timer
• Vacations? Inform your race captain or admins in advance, and use the joker option in BGA
• Extended leave? Let your group know in chat and decide on how to deal with it
• If you timeout, the race captain will contact the admins before taking any action
• Admins can allow captains to skip turns if no warning
• *Don’t quit over others' timeouts → you’ll get a DNF.* Just continue playing as normal
• 2 DNFs due to absence = possible ban
• Timing Out It is forbidden for anyone but the Race Captain to skip the turn of a player who has timed out. If the Race Captain is the one who has run out of time, another person MUST contact the admin before proceeding. From now on, anybody breaking this rule will receive a DNF. The Race Captains were given additional guidance on how to deal with these issues so please talk to them in case anyone times out.

📅 **Schedule**
• Season 2 starts with regional series:
 • All Americas (USA/Canada/South America)
 • Europe (Europe and GMT+5/6 zones)
 • Asia / Pacific 
• Later: Top players go to the World Championship
• Races start when previous ones are finished
• Schedule may be adjusted at admin’s discretion
• Missed a race? You can still join the next one!

Points & Levels

• 1st place: 15 points
• 2nd place: 10 points 
• 3rd place: 7 points
• 4th place: 5 points
• 5th place: 3 points
• 6th place: 1 point
• 7th place: 0 point
• DNF = 0 point if less than 90% of the Winner's Total Race Spaces Moved

Levels: Rookie / Amateur / Intermediate / Semi Pro / Pro
→ Rookies finishing a full season = Amateur
→ Rookie 1st = Semi Pro
→ Rookie 2nd = Intermediate
→ 1st/2nd in Amateur = Intermediate
→ 1st/2nd in Intermediate = Semi Pro
→ 1st/2nd in Semi Pro = Pro
→ 1st/2nd in Pro = World Championship
→ Bottom 2 (except Amateur) = demoted
→ Amateurs never return to Rookie • Tie-break: Wins > 2nd > 3rd...
